They can call it “protesting” all day long, but the horrors taking place in America’s streets following the reported death of George Floyd are little more than domestic terrorism – and the president agrees.
In a recent tweet, President Trump went public in declaring Antifa a domestic terrorist organization, which was later followed up with a confirmation from Attorney General William Barr.
“The violence instigated and carried out by Antifa and other similar groups in connection with the rioting is domestic terrorism and will be treated accordingly,” Trump wrote.
These “other similar groups” that Trump referred to may include Black Lives Matter, which has yet to decry the acts of terrorism that are taking place under the larger banner of “protests” against “police brutality.”
What this all means going forward remains unclear, as days have since passed with no formidable action being taken against either Antifa or Black Lives Matter. However, the president has set the stage for something soon to come, or so it appears.
“The Lamestream Media is doing everything within their power to foment hatred and anarchy,” Trump went on to tweet about the media’s role in sanctioning all of this chaos and violence.
“As long as everybody understands what they are doing, that they are FAKE NEWS and truly bad people with a sick agenda, we can easily work through them to GREATNESS!”
Listen below to The Health Ranger Report as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, talks about Antifa terrorism in relation to the Insurrection Act:
This announcement by Trump comes roughly a year after he previously tweeted that he was considering labeling Antifa a terrorist organization. Now that he has officially done it, the world is waiting to see what happens next.
“Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others),” Trump’s previous tweet stated.
“Would make it easier for police to do their job!”
This tweet by Trump came after Antifa terrorists in Portland, Oregon, attacked journalist Andy Ngo with cement “milkshakes,” sending him to the hospital with serious injuries. Around the same time, Indiana Congressman Jim Banks called for Antifa to be classified as a domestic terrorist group.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have also put out studies in the past labeling Antifa as an “anarchist extremist” group, and “primary instigators of violence at public rallies.” This goes back at least as far as early 2016 when it became clear that Donald Trump was going to be the Republican nominee for president.
It is also worth noting that Keith Ellison, the Attorney General of Minnesota (coincidence?), tweeted a photo of himself holding up an Antifa handbook that was captioned with a statement that the image was meant to “strike fear in the heart” of President Trump.
On numerous occasions, Antifa terrorists have targeted and attacked conservative groups specifically, including the “Patriot Prayer” movement. Antifa terrorists have also physically assaulted a variety of people that they deem to be “fascists,” even when those people are peacefully protesting or just minding their own business.
“Trump’s new order means a whole lot of Democrats have been donating money to a terrorist group,” tweeted Jack Posobiec in response to Trump’s official declaration that Antifa is a terrorist organization that needs to be dealt with for the protection of the American people.
